ashf
Please add the force integer pixel option for resizing/transformation without creating sub pixels. Such as in the Resize Document / the Resize Canvas / the Transform panel / the Export window loukash and pixelworker
pixelworker
This is one of the main flaws. Working pixel perfect it's super difficult and frustrating in Affinity. ashf
pixelworker
@ashf I think you should post it again in the current forum for Version 2. This one is archived. ashf

But the functions you mentioned are based on numeric fields where you have to type some numbers. Can't you just use integer numbers there? But sometimes you may want a global setting that would block any attempt to enter decimal values. Even at the risk that it may result in slightly unpredictable jumps e.g. when proportionally resizing a rectangle. I.e. when advised to do so, the engine should always round up or down to integer, no matter what action is being performed. Adobe XD is one app that does exactly this: it always forces pixel alignment, no matter what. This breaks regular shapes like perfect squares, polygons or circles whenever you resize more than one shape at once. Look what it does to concentric circles: loukash and ashf

And rotation is another problem.
