drgum8888
A fellow Affinity Photo user Lars884 posted a similar question here recently about several thin white horizontal bar/lines that distributed over the exported jpg files. Someone replied that 'turning off HW Acceleration in Preferences'. Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything like that under 'Preferences'. Never experienced such things on my old Windows 7 PC. I'm now using an i5 PC with 16 gb RAM and Windows 11 Home. Affinity Photo 1.10.5.
Staff Dan C Posted October 31, 2022 Staff Share Posted October 31, 2022 Hi @drgum8888, Sorry to see you're having trouble! Can you please open the Affinity app, then navigate to Edit > Preferences > Performance. In the dialog that opens, please untick Hardware Acceleration at the bottom of this dialog, then restart the app as prompted. Once restarted, re-export your image and you should find these lines no longer appear. I hope this helps Quote Please note - I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time. Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible. Many thanks!
