Kevin Brusky
I can reliably hard crash Photo just by changing the font, as follows: Open a PNG. Add Frame Text to the PNG and paste in some text. The text I posted was in Courier New Regular 10pt - "We zijn blij om Pampero in het nederlands aan te kondigen!". Select all of the text that was just pasted. Click in the font box in the toolbar and type 'Arial'. Photo crashes as soon I hit the first 'A', every single time. I've opened multiple PNG files and get the same result. I've restarted my Windows 11 (32GB RAM) system - still fails.

Kevin Brusky
Thanks! I should have seen that in the FAQ before posting. I did just now look through the FAQ for mention of the mysterious shifting selection problem but didn't see it there. I can write it up as a bug report, but I know I've seen it posted somewhere before. At the time there wasn't a fix. The problem is that when adding a selection on an image with a bleed, the selection will shift up and left several pixels.

That's known. The workaround is to remove the Bleed until closer to the end of your project. Kevin Brusky
Oof, hopefully that's fixed soon. As a publisher I get all the art from creators with the bleeds already in place so it's not realistic to remove the bleed from all the work. This bug is my single largest pain point with Affinity products.
