Affinity shows multicoloured squares while using Artboards (its error)

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

so I have recently switched from Windows to MacOS and it works pretty damn well. However, one thing has been getting on my nerves for the past half a year.

Whenever Im using Artboards, Affinity starts to display multilple multicolour sqaures that change while scrolling and its really annoying.

Does anyone know what could cause the problem and how to solve it?

Pic and video demonstration below.

Thanks a lot! :)

Hi @Rizza welcome to the forums,

It's more than likely being caused by the Live Perspective filter, this can cause strange blocky artefacts to appear all over the place when it's used on an Artboard, try hiding/rasterising this layer and it should stop appearing.

This is an issue currently logged with the development team for resolution. 🙂

Thanks! It works perfectly now again, didn't realize it might be caused by perspective :)
