Loïc MIAME
Bonjour la communauté. Merci à tous ceux qui donnent vie à cet espace et qui permettent de trouver des solutions. Yesterday I installed an update on windows 11. Today when trying to open a project in Affinity, it closes automatically. Whether it's "open a recent project" or "create a new one". Can you help me? walt.farrell
My guess: It's this problem related to recent Windows updates: Loïc MIAME 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. iPad: iPad Pro M1, 12.9": iPadOS 17.4.1, Apple Pencil 2, Magic Keyboard Mac: 2023 M2 MacBook Air 15", 16GB memory, macOS Sonoma 14.4.
Loïc MIAME
Thank you for your reply. But after following the recommended steps, the problem seemed to be fixed for few days. Now it's when I try to change the font that the software stops automatically. What to do?

Did you also Hide the Windows update as mentioned in that FAQ? If not, Windows may have just reinstalled it. Or another update with the same issue may have also been installed. Loïc MIAME
Oh I see. That's exactly what happened. I just uninstalled it again and everything works fine. So I'm going to stop updates. At least the time to finish my project. Thank you again for your answers. walt.farrell
