steven van hemelryck Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 Several days ago Designer crashed while I was working. After that it wouldn't open again. After 15 tries, suddenly it does. And now no more. Not even after uninstalling and reinstalling. Sometimes the splash screen appears. Sometimes the menu at the top (but can't create or open a new doc), then that also disappears. I'm pretty desperate. I can't work without Designer anymore! macOS 12.6 (21G115) MacBookPro15,4 Quad-Core Intel Core i5 1,4 GHz
Staff stokerg Posted October 20, 2022 Staff Posted October 20, 2022 Hi @steven van hemelryck, Could you try starting Affinity from Applications while holding down the Control key on your keyboard. You'll get a popup message asking if you'd like to clear some settings and 3 options will be ticked and you can just click on the Clear button. Affinity should then start as normal. If you can then try your normal workflow and let me know if you have any further problems
