Krutobijec Posted October 19, 2022 Posted October 19, 2022 Hi! I need to create a png file with several objects. I turned antialiasing off and set the coverage as flat as possible. It looks quite good when I export the file. However, some of the objects have missing parts in the corners. Unfortunately I don't know how to deal with this issue. It is crucial to have well shaped squares etc. You can find the outcome attached. Thanks a lot in advance! Kind regards, Jan

This problem is most likely being caused by the rectangles not being on whole pixels, either the size or location (x, y) or both. Use snapping and only have Force pixel alignment on, keep Move by whole pixels turned off. Use a grid that is set to whole pixels. Avoid using mid points for snapping. NotMyFault 1 Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
NotMyFault Posted October 19, 2022 Posted October 19, 2022 some hints If you are using Designer, activate pixel view modehttps://affinity.help/designer/en-US.lproj/index.html Always use pixels as dimensions for document setup etc. increase number of digits in preferences > UI to maximum (6) use transform panel to inspect position and size of layers for fractional digits Goodby Forum, thanks for good discussion and so much support from great peers and Affinity staff. It was a great pleasure to be part of this fantastic community. After 03.10.2025 find me on https://creofora.com
