evtonic3
Just saw that Microsoft released an app called Designer. No respect for companies already using this name for an app for almost ten years!
G13RL
We could turn the problem around with Serif, which uses the name Publisher even though Microsoft Publisher has been around for over 30 years! debraspicher and evtonic3 1

debraspicher
I don't really care what they name it. I will only say I use WIN+S combo a lot to launch programs and sometimes I'll forget I have it pinned and will type in Publisher to launch. I get the Office version instead. Just a minor annoyance. lacerto
There was Micrografx Designer around 1990, which Corel later purchased and which continues being developed under the name Corel DESIGNER (and is part of the CorelDRAW Technical Suite).
