SoerKnatter
When exporting artboards in export persona, random white border lines are added to the exported image. For example a 2px wide line at the top and a 1px wide line on the left border. When using the export in the design-persona and exporting single artboards, the lines do not appear. The artboards consist of a single Image (3000x3000px) with an overlaid symbol (which consist of some simple circles). Affinity ist updated to the newest version and the problem persists after a restart.
Staff NathanC Posted October 15, 2022 Staff Share Posted October 15, 2022 Hi @SoerKnatter welcome to the forums, It's possible that some of the artboards do not have Integer Pixel values, causing additional pixels to appear as white lines on the final exported image. This can be seen when highlighting the artboard in the transform panel with Pixel Decimal Places set to 1 or greater under Preferences > User Interface. Please see the below thread which covers this in more detail. If it's not the above, It would be beneficial if you could provide us with a sample file where you're experiencing this, I can provide a private upload link if required. SoerKnatter
Thanks for the reply. I thought about this too and actively set the image size to be an integer value. The problem still persists. I will post an example as soon as possible

Also check the X/Y coordinates. And make sure that you've increased the number of decimals for pixel displays, in Preferences, User Interface, to 3 or more. I sometimes use 6 just for this purpose. SoerKnatter
I figured it out. The slice is not aligned with the artboard (see screenshot1). Furthermore some slices are 1 pixel wider and taller than the artboard they belong to. But I never changed their size. I cannot remember an editing step which would lead to this misalignment. After some tries and preparing the file for the upload to this page, I figured out that the slice-area is not linked to the artboard. Meaning, if I create an artboard and then move it, it's slice is somewhere else: Am I handling the slices wrong? If nobody else is suffering this problem it must surely be me. export_problem.afdesign
