iPad ADez file management, set default directory a puzzlement

Recommended Posts

I changed my ADez default dir, from iPad to cloud

  • Edited an existing document, and it saved to iPad
  • Upon changing default dir had no idea what would happen,.
  • Created new doc saved local as well Ok no surprize here, under strict set of conditions ADez does as it jolly well pleases.
  • Copied the file with file manager to iCloud and edit, by opening using file manager, now edits saved on cloud, so with all my other ADez or APho files must be copied to cloud and open from file manager to get APho and Dez to recognize the the default dir in the app is where to affect edits and creation of new documents? Whats the point of a default dir setting?

Hi AffinityRat,

This seems to be working as expected for me when I save a file from the apps home screen are you using Save Copy from the file menu?

Thanks
C
