Pressing any key in the text field for selecting a font crashes Photo

Recommended Posts

I've tried a few dozen times, restarting the application, restarting the computer, reinstalling the application. And still, if the cursor is in the text field where you type in the name of the font you are looking for, and I press any key the software freezes for a few seconds and then crashes, closing out.

This started not long after the most recent update for Affinity Photo. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a fix?
