Karsten Sand
Love this program, the Simplicity of it and overall seems really nice.. One thing i really miss is Live Trace or something like that, the ability to quick turn in a Sketch/scan into a Vector drawing would be Great, and for me no more reason to Use Abobe illustrator Sorry see now the question already been made.. keep it up Cheers Karsten Raskolnikov 1 Quote Karsten Sand Illustrator/3D Artist http://wrysand.blogspot.dk

Staff MEB Posted October 23, 2014 Staff Share Posted October 23, 2014 This subject (trace function) was already discussed a couple of times in different threads. It's being considered but it's not something that will come soon. The consensus is that it must be as good (or better) than what the market offer nowadays, otherwise there's no point in spending time developing it. This obviously requires some time, but it's being looked at. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software

Well, better is always better, but for my purposes, vector conversion 90% as good as Illustrator produces, integrated into the application, would beat perfection achieved through external steps.
