Meesha Posted October 3, 2022 Share Posted October 3, 2022 (edited) Hi - hoping someone can help. I have Affinity Photo and Publisher. I have installed version 1.10.5 and neither one of the apps will stay open. The splash screen comes up and then immediately closes. I have tried the 'control' key and selected all resets several times - still nothing. Windows 11. I don't have any of the programs that seem to be incompatible with Affinity. Thank you! So I have Windows 11 22H2 version (however did not work with the last version either) I don't have any of the known programs with issues This is a Lenovo 7i 12th gen Iris Arc graphics with 32gb of ram I also have a Samsung Book 2 360 pro 12th gen with Iris graphics. None of my Affinity programs would open on that either however I was able to hold down the CONTROL key to reset and open the program to turn off hardware acceleration. The Lenovo allows me to hold down the CONTROL, reset all checkboxes but then still open screen disappears so I can not turn off hardware acceleration. Help! Thank you! I tried holding the CONTROL key down before I even opened the program and also clicked on the actual program in search rather than the last used icon and was able to unselect the hardware acceleration! I just purchased the new V2 for all 3 programs, installed them and they work flawlessly with the hardware acceleration checked and the latest updates and 22H2 version of Windows 11.
