"Edit in Affinity Photo" extension for photos doesn't save file

From photo library, photo->edit->"edit in affinity photo"-> perform edits->save results in a pop up window that says "unable to edit with "Edit in Affinity Photo" An unexpected error occurred." see attached image- this use case is repeatable.

 

However photo->edit->affinity monochrome->perform edits->save, does work.

Monterey 12.6 on Mac studio, AP 1.10.5

I can confirm this issue has been raised previously and is logged with the developers for resolution, I've gone ahead and added your report for consideration. 🙂

I'm receiving the same error on my Mac when using the 'Edit in Affinity Photo' option in the Photos app. I'm on the demo version currently. Version 2.1.0. Any update on the resolution?
