Trekkerphotography Posted September 27, 2022 Share Posted September 27, 2022 When attempting to load an image into a publisher file program shuts down, no image is able to load. Cannot see image as I attempt to place it. Was working with Publisher earlier in the day and no problems. Photo working fine. Any help appreciated. Are you Opening the image as a new document, or are you using the Place functionality into an existing document, or are you using Copy/Paste, or something else? If you can also tell us: Operating system and version; Publisher version; More information about the document (if there is one); More information about the image and where it is located; ...then we will have a better idea of what you are trying to do. This was working fine for the first 36 images but now as I attempt to place an image I get only a blank box and then Publisher shuts down. More information about the image and where it is located; I am using Affinity Photo files, processed in Affinity photo from Cannon RAW files. I am using a HP Envy laptop and the files are located on the D drive og the laptop. This laptop has two internal drives, a C drive where the program is located and the D where I keep all files. I'd like to try resetting Publisher back to default settings, to see if this resolves the issue. You can reset your app back to its default settings by holding down the CTRL key while launching the app. When the Clear User Data window appears, click Select All and then Clear. The app will now open. Be aware that resetting your app back to its default settings will lose any custom settings such as keyboard shortcuts and brushes etc. To backup such settings before resetting the app, please watch our Affinity Backing up app resources and factory reset video here - Please do let me know if this helps Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Trekkerphotography Posted September 28, 2022 Author Share Posted September 28, 2022 Hi Dan. Appreciate your help. Performed factory reset. Returned to working normally but in an unusual way. At first, after factory reset, functions were delayed by anywhere from 10 - 60 seconds. Now working fine. Before factory reset on Publisher, Photo and Designer, at one point shut down upon opening.
