LouiseB
Hello, This morning I have picked up a project I started about a month ago. I remember preparing my file according to my printing company's requirements and had no issue. It was a file test I needed to use on the printer's website so I deleted it thereafter. So I opened my original TIFF file (RGB) again to convert it to CMYK and us web coated swop v2 profile. But the profile doesn't show up in the drop-down menu. I'm 100% sure the profile was available the last time. I'm puzzled! I have attached an example (the picture featured is not the file I'm working on). Thank you for your assistance! I just remembered that I had set it up by default in the colour settings pannel 😂 All is good now! LouiseB
Coming across the same issue again today. I've tried to work it around like the last time but it didn't work. So here are my steps: My general colour settings are (screenshot 1) CMYK FOGRA39 ((my usual CMYK profile by default) - I open my RGB TIFF file (screenshot 2) in Photo Persona - I click on Document/convert format/ICC Profile (screenshot 3) - In the drop-down menu, the U.S. Web coated (SWOP) v2 won't show up (while the FOGRA39 and other profiles appear) - If I change the general colour settings to CMYK U.S. Web coated (SWOP) v2, it makes no difference, the U.S. Web coated (SWOP) v2 won't show up (the FOGRA 39 appears fine along with other profiles) The only way I've managed to find the U.S. Web coated (SWOP) v2 is by converting first to FOGRA 39 then back to Document/convert format/ICC Profile where the U.S. Web coated (SWOP) v2 magically appears. Besides the fact it makes no sense that I have to do this manipulation, I don't know if it's any good for the original TIFF file to be successively converted in FOGRA then to U.S. Web coated (SWOP) v2. Many thanks for any suggestion you'd have!
