Selections question

Recommended Posts

Photo on iPad

I have been following various tutorials on YouTube and some have been very good.

i wanted to cutout a head shot of a lady with fluffy hair and replace the background with a solid colour.

i went into the selections person

performed a magic brush to get most of the head and hair

i then refined the selection with the refine brush and then went into black and white mode and touched up the selection.

selected layer and mask and finished.

added a fill layer of a particular colour, moved it below the fill layer below the image and all was good.

I noticed some of the hair was missing “mid strand” so some strands of hair were “floating” in mid-air, so to speak.

how can i add the missing section of the hair back?

i have tried re-editing the layer but i think i may have the wrong layer/mask/colour/tool combination.

I have confused myself i think.

Or it can’t be done once i have made it transparent.

thanks

Thank you
