Hattie30
Photo on iPad I have been following various tutorials on YouTube and some have been very good. i wanted to cutout a head shot of a lady with fluffy hair and replace the background with a solid colour. i went into the selections person performed a magic brush to get most of the head and hair i then refined the selection with the refine brush and then went into black and white mode and touched up the selection. selected layer and mask and finished. added a fill layer of a particular colour, moved it below the fill layer below the image and all was good. I noticed some of the hair was missing “mid strand” so some strands of hair were “floating” in mid-air, so to speak. how can i add the missing section of the hair back? i have tried re-editing the layer but i think i may have the wrong layer/mask/colour/tool combination. I have confused myself i think. Or it can’t be done once i have made it transparent. thanks Quote Thank you iPad Pro 12.9” (2021) M1 CPU, 1TB RAM, 5th generation & Apple Pencil v2 & apple Magic Keyboard, IPad OS 16.3.1 Affinity Photo 2.0.
Staff DWright Posted September 16, 2022 Staff Share Posted September 16, 2022 If you create a mask from your selection you can then reedit this mask by selecting the mask layer and use the brush tool with black and white colour to add to and remove parts of the mask.
