bob1313 Posted September 13, 2022 Posted September 13, 2022 Hello, could you please let me know how to get a polish dictionary for designer?
walt.farrell Posted September 13, 2022 Posted September 13, 2022 Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, @bob1313. The FAQ about adding dictionaries to Publisher applies to Designer, as well: The first post has a link to the GitHub site that hosts the dictionaries for LibreOffice, and instructions about where to install them for use with the Affinity projects. However, downloading from that site is tricky, so the second post provides direct links to the dictionary files you'll need, and using those links you'll automatically get them in the right format. Then you just need to follow the instructions in the first post to put them in the proper spot. You'll want the pl_PL files. -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop 1: Windows 11 Pro 24H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. But to tell about that, you'll need to show us more information: A screenshot of your Designer Preferences, Tools section. A screenshot from File Explorer or Finder, after you click the Open button on Preferences, Tools. A screenshot from File Explorer or Finder, after you double-click on the pl_PL directory. Maybe something more, after we see those. -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop 1: Windows 11 Pro 24H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU.
