locomoco Posted September 12, 2022 Share Posted September 12, 2022 I uploaded a PDF into Affinity PHoto. I cropped it, and Affinity gives me a warning saying "This document does not allow exporting." Also, what is the source of the file? Does it contain copyrighted material? For now, I've gotten around this by converting my PDF into a JPG in a different program, and then I'm able to crop, save, and/or export the JPG using Affinity Photo. David in Яuislip Posted September 13, 2022 Share Posted September 13, 2022 I've only seen "This document does not allow exporting" when a Locked document is loaded However, APhoto can be used to bust copy protection on pdfs and also aphoto files so keep on clicking and you'll get there. I found this recently pursuing a daft idea about putting images on the web as password protected pdfs so that they couldn't be nicked but it's so easy to get past the password that I abandoned the idea. Bypassing PDF passwords is very simple, and there are many ways of doing it if you just do a search for them on the Internet.
