save all open files as a group (workspace?)

thought there was a way to save files in a group, then open that group all at once. however, it's been a rough coupla months and my brain is barely functioning, so who knows.

There's no "Save All" all files in case you meant that, but it seems you maybe meant instead to place embedded files into a group of a document, in order to be able to open that doc and have all embedded files at once again?

No, the former, mostly. I was confusing myself with VSCode's workspace feature.

Those are conceptually completely different pairs of shoes, the Electron based VS Code editor has a workspace concept where you can setup folders & files. It's similar to the projects setup IDEs have. - The Affinity apps don't follow this metapher and work on single files instead.
