Strange publisher when creating a picture frame

Recommended Posts

Hi Lee,

here are my specs:

MacBookAir 8,1 - Dual-Core Intel Core i5 - 1,6 GHz - 1  Prozessor, 2 Kerne - 256 KB L2-Cache - 4 MB L3-Cache - 8 GB Speicher

macOS 12.5.1

Metal Acceleration turned on (see attachement).

This strange behavior only appeared after the last macOS update. It never was before. It's probably because of that.

Disable the Metal Acceleration and retry if it makes any difference here then!

I tried without Metal Acceleration. It makes no difference.

Did you restart Publisher? -  Other than that it may be due to some system changes by macOS 12.5.1 Monterey!

I continue to work on my book project by copying, pasting and adjusting picture frames from previous pages. This works normally. 🙂

Another trial:
1. Close the affected document.
2. Create a new document of same dimensions, resolution, colour profile.
3. Select menu Document > Add Pages from File…
4. Choose the affected document to get its pages imported this way.
5. Try if the issue with new picture frames still happens.
