Hi -

I am at a loss here and hope someone can help me out.

The text on the left-facing page is lighter than the text on the right-hand side with the illustration.  I have compared all frame and font settings - they are identical. - What am I missing here? The font is 14 point OldnewspaperTypes

Windows 10 PC / Nividia GeForce 1370 Ti graphics card

Thanks for whatever assistance you can offer.

Off the top of my head I would suggest looking at the layers panel and seeing what the opacity of the left page is set to.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

We could go back and forth for quite a while and not get to the source of the problem. Could you post the Publisher document here so we could take a look at it.

Character's colour

Character's colour's opacity

Character's colour colour type RGB vs CMYK vs Lab vs Greyscale vs HSL

Hi Old Bruce -

Thanks for responding - I tore the master layout apart and found a blank layer filled with white sandwiched in between my text and the base page, I removed it and that fixed the problem. Have no idea how that layer got there - LOL

Thanks again for your help!
