Really, so if I have the arrow selected and click one card they are there, but I select multiple and its gone, how does that make sense?

A choice made by the people who wrote the algorithms. There would need to be many more lines of code to have the context toolbar show if many objects were selected and they were all of the same type or different types. Consider if you have three different parametric shapes, a Heart, a Cog and a Pie shape, the objects all have some things related but many more options are unrelated.

It is most likely a matter of not introducing more code which could create bugs.

Affinity Designer 2.5.5 | Affinity Photo 2.5.5 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.5 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

You forgot to name the Rounded Rectangles. This makes all the items, groups and rectangles get selected when you chose to select same name.

That's left as an excercise for the OP here (...no time for that too)!
