Staff MEB Posted January 4, 2016 Staff Share Posted January 4, 2016 Hi pblacklock, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Select the black and white layer then go to Layer ▸ Rasterize to Mask. Finally drag it over the image layer's thumbnail until you see a blue vertical line appear then release the mouse (to attach the mask to the image layer). Staff MEB Posted January 4, 2016 Staff Share Posted January 4, 2016 No, there's no way to create a buttom but you can set a custom shortcut for it going to Affinity Photo ▸ Preferences..., Keyboard Shortcuts section, set the first dropdown to Photo and the second to Layer, then look for the Rasterise to Mask in the list on the bottom and set a custom key.
