Maxdanger Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 Hi Affinity team! I have made a calendar template in Excel and I would like to place it in Affinity Publisher to create a calendar. When I try to place it, the whole program crashes on me. Here's a video I've recorded showing the issue in action. I've tried the usual reboot etc and the problem persists. Affinity Publisher version: 1.10.5 Machine: M1 Pro Macbook Pro (Monterey 12.5.1)Calendar template.afpub and Yearly calendar.xlsx attachments that I use in the video Please can someone take a look and see if there are any settings I need to change or if it's a bug that needs to be fixed. Many thanks in advance! Quote 2024 14 inch MacBook Pro M4 Max, 128 GB RAM 2024 M4 iPad Pro 11 inch Affinity Designer 2.6.3 | Affinity Photo 2.6.3 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.3 | Current Beta versions.
Staff NathanC Posted September 1, 2022 Staff Posted September 1, 2022 Hi @Maxdanger welcome to the forums, Thanks for providing your files, I've been able to replicate your crash on Mac and Windows and it has now been logged with the developers. I don't believe changing any combination of settings will allow this file to be placed, as I was experiencing the crash even after stripping down the file significantly. Quote
