Mareike2022 Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 Is it possible to connect different text frames with Affinity Publisher (spreaded over two pages)? The important thing is!: When if I enter some word like "Product Name" into one text frame, this word has to appear in all text frames that are connected. So I don't have to fill in this word on a manual way into all text frames. Quote
walt.farrell Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 You could place one frame on a Master Page, put the words in it, and then apply that Master Page to any document pages that needs that frame. thomaso Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 Hi @Mareike2022, welcome to the Affinity forums! "The important thing is!:" – You description can mean several different things. For instance … The simplest appears to be Find & Replace. Copy an existing text area into the Find field and use this also for Replace where you additionally type the wanted "product name". If you want to enter text within existing text frames AND create copies of this frame then the Data Merge feature might meet your needs. Another option could use Walt's hint and place the frame "product name" on a master page at the wanted layout position AND activate Text Wrap for this frame. This will result in a copy of this frame on every page which has this master assigned AND move existing text of existing frames according its text wrap settings.
