Goodness, once I read your reply I can see where the confusion would kick in. I blame Inkscape, I wonder why they chose to say arm64 instead of Apple Silicon or M1 and M2.

Aside: You've been using Macs a bit longer than me. I recall the frustration of updated software for the 601 chips not running on my Mac plus.
