Hi 😉

When I use the Gaussian blur on a background it appears well on the image of Affinity photo but when I export the result there is no more blur in the background…

Why ?

Can someone help ?

Thank you

> I tried this time to "save" instead of "exporting" : the problem does not happen so !

The point is that I can open the file only in Affinity…

Hi @Nadar,

Could you confirm how you applied the gaussian blur to the image, was this via FX or as a Live Filter/Filter?

What file format are you exporting to and what are your export preset settings?

Could you provide us with a sample file affected or screenshots?

Many thanks 🙂

Hi Nathan 😉

Thank you.

I applied the gaussian blur via the filter/filter and export with the format jpeg.

Hi @Nadar,

As far as i'm aware there should be nothing preventing the blur filter from being applied in your final exported image, the export to JPEG should flatten all layers with the blur filter applied (So long as the blur layer was ticked as visible prior to the export)

Do you have a sample .afphoto file along with your JPEG result for comparison that you could upload so I can investigate further?
