Peter Turner
On my Mac Studio, when I create a text box there is no cursor and on an existing text box with text, the cursor does not appear when I double left click with my mouse. This all works perfectly on my iMac, both using macOS Monterey, and it is the same with two mice/mouses.
Old Bruce
Hi and welcome to the forums @Peter Turner, I see this occasionally, the only advice I have for clearing this problem is to quit the application and start it again. Known as Roy's solution to computer problems. It is from The IT Crowd "Have you tried turning it off and on again?" Very rarely I will have to log out and log in, in extreme situations I have to reboot the Mac. Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4 Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
Peter Turner
Thanks Old Bruce, my usual remedy, too, but it has let me down this time. I’ll try again tomorrow.
Peter Turner
Tried everything I can think of. May need to uninstall AFP and reinstall. Don't want to.
