Daniel Geiger Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 How do I make a line with perfectly square ends? With line tool, the end is rounded with diameter = line thickness. I can use shape-rectangle with stroke = 0, but it is a bit more cumbersome, because line thickness cannot be pre-set. Hokusai Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Daniel, I'm not sure if I'm following your question. Are you talking about the "cap" of the line? On the "Stroke" palette there is a section below the "width" adjuster that allows you to change the cap. You can choose "Rounded", "Butt" or "Square" cap. Choose the "square cap (the last choice). Daniel Geiger Posted January 4, 2016 Author Posted January 4, 2016 Dear Hokusai (what an auspicious Ukio-e name!), you nailed it and then some! It's all there, just need to know where to look. Thanks! Quote AffinityPhoto | Designer | Publisher V1&2, InDesign, QuarkXPress, Zeiss ZenBlue, ZereneStacker, Heliconfocus, Aurora HDR, DxO Optics Pro, DataGraph, Wacom tablet
