How to do a table within a book?

I need to insert a two-column table between paragraphs of body text. When I do this using the regular table function, it does not move when I insert text before the table. I thought I could do it via two-column text. But how can I do two columns for just these five rows? Can I insert another text frame inside the text frame? Thanks again for help.

Look at Pinning the table to the paragraph before it, you should be able to add more text and have the table move done, or up if you delete text before it.

View > Studio > Float

Use Float offsets and Text Wrap to locate it where you want.
