Neil P Posted August 29, 2022 Posted August 29, 2022 I want to create a A5 wraparound cover (one photo) for my soft cover photobook, approx 40 pages. Because it's a wraparound do I need to account for extra bleed ? (on the inside of book ? ). Also how do I calculate the spine, or is this not relevant as it's a software cover. ? Sorry, basics here, any guidance is gratefully received, thanks Neil. Quote
PaulEC Posted August 29, 2022 Posted August 29, 2022 Hi @Neil P Welcome to the forums. You probably will need bleed for the cover and the width of the spine will depend not only on the number of pages, but also on the weight (thickness) of the paper used. The only people who can answer your questions accurately are the printers who will be printing your book!
