Embedded images from InDesign not being imported with IDML into Publisher

Hello, I have a number of files created in InDesign which have embedded links (images, pdfs etc), they open fine in InDesign and the files not linked externally, but when I open the IDML file in Publisher it asks for the linked files. It does not seem to recognise they have been embedded. Any help appreciated.

I'm somewhat confused by the wording of your post, just to confirm are the images embedded into your InDesign document or linked? If they are embedded please could you upload a copy of the file to the following DropBox link so I can investigate this further with you?
