Good morning.
I'm experiencing an annoying lag that occurs as soon as I start moving objects and nodes of a curve in both Designer and Photo. For example, if I modify a curve, as soon as I hook the node and start to move it, an initial lag occurs, continuing the movement instead everything works normally.
This delay is more pronounced when I use the graphics tablet.
All this also happens with a new document.
I have tried various combinations of system graphics settings, also disabling hardware acceleration and OpenCL acceleration and various retina renderings, but the problem always occurs.
I also tried various precision details of the tablet both high and low, but nothing.
The Affinity software versions are as follows: v. 1.10.5.1342 Windows

The system I'm having the problem with is a PC that I assembled:
CPU - AMD Ryzen 3900X
RAM - 32GB DDR4 3200MHz CL16
GPU - Nvidia RTX 2070 Super
Imput - Logitech MX Master 2S Mouse; Wacom Intuos Pro (2017) Driver 6.3.46-1
OS: Windows 11 v. 22621.457 (This is a beta prewiew, but the problem also happened with released versions of Windows 10/11)
Video driver: Nvidia Studio 516.94

Use 27 "monitor at native resolution of 3840x2160 60hz interface resizing to 150%

In the use of Affinity software for now I do not encounter other lag problems besides these and the fluidity in drawing with various brushes and in performing various elaborations are very fluid.

Are you using multiple Views (ie windows)? I was having issues with node tool when dragging that I reproduced by opening up views. Seems to get worse if the zooms are dramatically different. Sometimes it would not allow points to be placed.

Hello debraspicher.
Unfortunately it happens even with a single document and without views.

Hi @Renx-78,

Do you have a G-Sync compatible monitor? There is a known issue with G-Sync monitors (With G-Sync enabled for either fullscreen/windowed in Nvidia 3D settings) causing stuttering/lag issues. If this is enabled in 3D settings, try completely disabling and try moving nodes again.

If it's not the above, could you provide us with a screen recording demonstrating your problem so we can investigate further?

Hi NathanC!

The monitor I use is a BenQ PD2700U, not G-Synk compatible so I had already disabled it from settings.

I report below two screen recordings: one using the mouse and the other using the pen. When using the pen (with wacom tablet) the problem is more pronounced.

Thanks for providing the recordings,

I'm not seeing any major stutter/lag in your demonstration with the mouse and the fluidity of moving the nodes appears identical to how it flows on my setup. However, it does become a lot clearer in combination with a graphics tablet.

Could you advise which model Wacom tablet you're using as well as current input method selected and also provide a screenshot of your performance preferences?

Many thanks 🙂

I hope there are no problems with the Italian language.

In the tablett imput method I tried all three suggestions (Low Precision, High Precision and Windows ink).
