adiaz Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 Affinity Photo Desktop 1.10.5 on Big Sur 11.6.8 Running a simple batch job where I'm basically just adding an adjustment layer preset to a bunch of .afphoto, then saving as .afphoto in a new folder. Turns out just fine except for a file or two: no thumbnail preview which is the giveaway that something didn't turn out right the files fail to open and Affinity Photo says they're already open in another application machine is unable to erase the file and returns Error Code -36. I can get the results I wanted with a simple workaround, but it's an extra step and kinda ruins the file organization flow I had going... Is there a way I should be running batch jobs differently to avoid this? Does this suggest a hardware issue? Quote
Old Bruce Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 Try turning off the Parallel Processing in the Batch dialog. Down at the bottom left corner. Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
