augustya Posted August 23, 2022 Posted August 23, 2022 So I am trying to use Nik Collection’s Color Efex Pro “Dynamic Skin Softener Filter on one of my image, And I am in a dilemma on how to go about it? Anybody who uses Color Efex Pro 4 and in particularly Dynamic Skin Softener or someone who has thorough idea and knowledge about it if you can guide me, because I am a little confused. Now it does sound simple and self explanatory but despite my best effort to achieve desired results it is either doing a little too more or a little too less. My issue is if I let the default settings of percentage in different categories like Colour Reach, Small details, Medium Details, Large details If I leave the default percentage settings as it is and only play with the Opacity the results are still too unnatural and artificial skin, which nobody has that kind of skin, and I try to play with the percentage settings in different categories and also play with the Opacity I just don’t get the desired results because I don’t know what is working best ? I know this depends on the particular image that I am working on. But any users here of this filter can you tell me what would be the way to go about this Let the default settings as it is and only play with the Opacity Or Also reduce the Percentage settings in different categories listed above. And if someone can also tell me if using the colour picker in that Dynamic Skin Softener does it really help ? if Yes, How ? Does it help in even out the skin or if it does not make any difference ? Also attached is an image for you guys to know and understand what I am talking about. TIA. Quote
