Affinity Publisher, N-Up complex collecting/pager order

Recommended Posts

Hi, i am trying to print A5 sized document, numbered pages 1-600 using N-up setup. I want to print them on A4 format, but after printing i want to cut it into 2 stacks and get numbers in correct order on both stacks without picking them manually. In Corel there was an complex completing function in N-uping.

Anyone can help me?

Regards

Dunno if Publisher can do that, if it can I can't
Anyway, this works
Export pp 1-300
Export pp 301-600
Combine alternate pages of both files using something like https://pdfsam.org/download-pdfsam-basic/
Load result into Publisher and Print N-up to pdf

Hi @aplot,

Welcome to the Affinity Forums :)

Unfortunately this isn't possible directly from the Print dialog in Affinity at this time, my apologies.

I would recommend using the above workaround for the time being, though we do hope to improve the printing options in Affinity in the future.

I hope this clears things up!

Belay that

Prepare a list of the pages print order ( a few minutes with Excel)

e.g.

1,501,2,502,3,503,4,504,5,505,6,506,7,507,8,508,9,509,10,510,------,498,998,499,999,500,1000
