Error on expand stroke

Hi, I have used affinity designer on ipad. But, there is problem if I would convert from stroke to curve. Do you have the solution?

Hi @mpansw,

There is a similar issue logged with the developers which results in a similar poor result when expanding the stroke which can be caused by excessive/superfluous nodes along a curve.

Could you provide me with your file so that I can investigate further? I've provided a private dropbox link below.

Thanks for sending the file, I found that I was able to get better results when expanding the stroke after I deleted and then placed the top middle node > selected the top three and then aligned them horizontally to re-centre the middle node. I then dragged the middle node back to around it's original position and then expanded, resulting in the below:

It still wasn't perfect but the nodes could be edited for improvement (Same on both desktop and iPad) I've now added your report to the originally logged issue for consideration. 🙂
