I'm a surface pattern designer in the process of building my business, and I am also a blogger in the home design niche. I am amazed by all the doors that affinity designer opened for me. It is is great software, which in my opinion is far better than its famous competitor. However it is not getting the exposure it deserves. Perhaps opening the door for affiliate marketing would help!

Welcome to the forums @Noraen

If you search these forums for affiliate you will easily find Serif’s latest official stance on this sort of thing – basically, they have said that they don’t see the need for such a thing. (And, for my ‘two-penneth-worth’, they know their business better than anyone so who are we to argue otherwise?)

I feel sure that if the time came when the expense and hassle of setting-up and maintaining such a thing became worthwhile - financially and/or otherwise - then they might consider it, but I can’t see that coming anytime soon, if at all.

In the meantime, if you want to tell people about how much you like the software then, of course, feel free to keep on doing so.
