Stoke width keeps changing

Hi all,

I can’t figure out the stroke set up on iPad affinity. I enter the value of stoke I want, say .5pt & then it shows it as 0.1 pt. So I type it again, then it changes to 1 pt, every time I enter something  it just changes to anything other than what I typed? Hope someone can help me understand.

Also puzzled with the stroke settings when within a group. If I want to change brush for whole group by selecting just the group layer, I have to select all the curves in the group first & clear strokes to then set it again…is there something I might be misunderstanding here too?

One more question is whether there is a live paint for vector outlines that doesn’t use pixel layer to fill with.

Is this with the brush tool or pencil tool?  Not something i've been able to replicate on the iPad here.  Could you provide a screen recording showing the issue?

Try the advice on this post from @Alfredand that should allow you to change the stroke for all the items in a group.

We don't currently have a live paint tool.

thanks for reply. I have attached video of stroke width issue. I have noticed that the only way I can work around is to enter the stroke edit window close it and reopen it immediately…then it enters correctly. 
however I can’t figure out the size change in the brush edit window. I select pt settings but it just enters as px . All shown in video
