All of a sudden, when I go back into a text frame to edit the text - things are happening that never happened before.  If I use backspace, the whole text frame disappears.  When I use the arrow keys to move about a text frame, a square is placed each time I press an arrow key.  The one thing I did before this all started - may be the reason, but I don't know why - is that I chose to delete all unused text styles.

Hi @BuffaloMikewelcome to the forums,

This would be quite unusual to start after just deleting unused styles, is this problem limited just to your document or have you tried creating an new document and seeing if the problem carries across?

I would initially suggest resetting the application to it's default settings by following the below:

  1. Close down Publisher
  2. From the Desktop hold down Ctrl and double click Publisher whilst still holding down Ctrl (Click on Publisher in the dock whilst holding Ctrl if on Mac)
  3. This will prompt a new menu 'Clear User Data' with three boxes ticked, press 'Clear'
  4. When Publisher launches try editing the frames in your file again.

Let me know how this goes.
