the5andmany
I use Affinity on both Mac and PC and for some reason masks seem to work differently. When I add a new mask on Mac (with or without a selection) it creates the mask as a seperate new layer above the current selected layer, I then have to drag the mask down to the layer I'm working on to apply it. On PC it works like I'd expect and "attaches" to the layer I'm working on. Is this intentional, or is my install just cursed? Sorry if this has been covered, but i couldn't find any info on this. carl123
Where the mask is placed is determined by your Assistant Manager settings, take a look there the5andmany 1 Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. Thanks! I was looking in all the wrong places, going through my preferences with a fine tooth comb. Old Bruce
