Photo. Displaying history of changes to an image.

Recommended Posts

I am very new to using to Photo.

I took some photos but the camera had an incorrect WB setting.

Using Photo I changed the WB to 5500K for daylight for some of the images. The next day, I changed the WB for the reminder of the images to an incorrect K value.

Is there any way that I can view the history of changes to an an image?

Does the .afphoto file contain the history of the changes.

Thanks.

Mike

Hi @Michael Parsons Welcome to the forums.

Sorry, the history is only saved in the .afphoto file if you specifically tell it to save it (i.e. tick "Save history with document" in the File Menu).

As long as the changes you made were not too drastic, you should still be able to readjust the white balance correctly.

(NB. Going forwards: it's always a good idea to work on a copy of your file, rather than on the original!) 😉

Changes you made initially in the Develop Persona while processing a RAW image are not visible in the document History after you Develop the image.
