Pablo13
Hi, I would be most grateful if anyone can assist with this. I've attached an image below to illustrate my problem. I've sorted the middle of the road lines that narrow to the distant horizon. I am now trying to add a solid line for each side of the road that also narrows to the horizon. This line needs to bend to give the impression of perspective. My two efforts on the left side of the road show that I can create a solid line and bend that as required but am unable to narrow the width of that line at the horizon. I can also create a shape that narrows in width but I am unable to make that bend. Is there a solution to this problem? I've tried converting the shape to curves but when I try to drag that, it only drags one side of the shape which results in a fatter line. Any idea how I can resolve this? I'm using Affinity Designer on a Macbook Pro. Thanks in advance.
Staff Lee_T Posted August 15, 2022 Staff Share Posted August 15, 2022 Hi Pablo13, in the stroke section of the context toolbar, try adjusting the "pressure" graph to narrow the curve as it moves to the horizon. You'll notice as you drag the right hand side node, both will move, so hold Alt whilst dragging it down to unlink it from the left side node.
