jcrayst
I was exploring the Affinity styles in the Photo persona. Seeing what each would do. Clicked one, then another, then another. I want to go back to square one. To the original photo before ANY styles were added. Rather than hitting undo multiple times, and short of closing the project with out saving and reopening the photo, how do I get back to the beginning, without any styles? There has got to be a way. jcrayst
I found an answer. Select the original layer (in this case the background). Go to documents in the finder menu then go to restore snapshot and choose that layer.
lucaswxyz
This is terrible! I was working on an image, and by pure curiosity I wanted to see what the "sunset" style was all about. Then all the image turned into a horrible green shade. I was expecting a warm-colour balance-style. But that is not the problem. The problem is that it cannot be undone, UNLESS, and I am guessing here, you have created a Snapshot JUST BEFORE you apply the style. All work lost! I had to close the image and start from the beginning. I haven't moved fully from PS to AP because of the lack of Macros, but this problem here... that was it! how is it that a global style has no RESET or UNDO option? Staff MEB Posted September 20, 2016 Staff Share Posted September 20, 2016 Hi lucaswxyz, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Have you tried to Undo ( ⌘ (cmd) + Z) or use the History panel to go one step back? It should undo the effect... Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
