Ohwell
I was doing a seamless pattern for a website and it was required the pattern to be in svg so ppl could to color it whatever the color they wanted and it also required to have nothing outside the artboard. The thing is, even if hidden, what is outside the artboard is still saved in svg. I tried cutting using trimm/cut tool (whatever it is called in english) just to discover it won't really cut, only mask it. I tried using boolean but it is a hassle if you have 1 zillion of layers to cut and it cannot cut grouped layers (if I'm doing anything wrong, please correct me). So what I'm asking is: 1. a tool that cut multiple objects under layers at once; 2. an exporting save mode that cut all objects outside the artboard in svg; 3. the boolean tool cutting grouped objects; 4. The so required knife and erase tool. Thank you.
2ddpainter
you could also take a look at VectorStyler and try the Demo it has a Trim Tool, a Knife, Vector Eraser and also Slice capabilities and a few things more Btw did not using the Slice by myself the other Tools work as expected

The price is not cheap (for my budge), but somehow affordable. If Serif doesn't take requests seriously, anothers vectors programs will take their spot soon. Well, it's always the question of what you get in return. I own a copy for a year now and can say that in terms of features VectorStyler is hard to beat. And on top of that the developer listen to the users and is very open to ideas for improving the app. It's not that I don't like Affinity Designer. I like it. But other reasons than features that have been requested for years. As you could see in the Forum.
