Dungarven
Hello friends, Sorry to be asking such a basic question again! I have searched for answers but had no luck. I have inserted the text for my book (200 pages) and I have edited and formatted chapter one. I am really pleased with the results. 😊 Now to treat the heading Chapter 2 to the same treatment as Chapter 1, and have it move to the next available page. (I am not going to leave blank pages and start new chapters on right.) When I apply the style of Heading 1 to Chapter 2 it accepts the font and point fine, but it does not move into starting position part way as I had set it for Chapter 1. How do I make Chapter 2 move down to the next available fresh page. Screen shot below. When I select Flow - Next page, then the first chapter moves itself to Page 6 instead of Page 3. Agh! Help! Thanks! Edited August 14, 2022 by Dungarven Changed question
PaulEC
Unfortunately your attached image is not showing, so I'm not sure what you mean by "Word codes", or what it has to do with "Starting new chapters", could you explain a little more about the problem? Quote Acer XC-895 : Core i5-10400 Hexa-core 2.90 GHz : 32GB RAM : Intel UHD Graphics 630 : Windows 10 Home Affinity Publisher 2 : Affinity Photo 2 : Affinity Designer 2 : (latest release versions) on desktop and iPad

For future reference, it’s best to create a new thread for a new question: it’s not only less confusing for users who are trying to help you with the original question, but also for users who might be able to help you with the new one. If you find the answer to your own question, please leave the question intact and post the answer in reply so that other users with a similar problem can benefit from your discovery. That sounds like a good idea, assuming that you don’t mind taking the time to do it.  Quote Alfred Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for Windows • Windows 10 Home/Pro Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for iPad • iPadOS 17.3.1 (iPad 7th gen)
