Changing my old IMac

Hello I will receive my new IMac next week, and I purchased the Affinity in the Apple store. Do I need to something beyond downloading from the Affinity that I purchased from the Apple Store to have the Affinity installed in my new IMac?

That's fine. You can install on as many Macs as you control and you can download whenever you need to from your Apple Store account.

Hi.
I'm doing the same thing... retiring my old MacBook Pro and trying to migrate everything over to my NEW MacBook Pro.

But Affinity Photo (in the Apple App Store) is not letting me download to the new MacBook. It's all acting like I'd need to purchase a new copy. But I know as long as I'm the only one accessing either of these MacBooks, I should be able (license-wise) to move the app over--or re-download it. 
When I try to download it from my Affinity account (logged-in), the files are not recognised by the Mac, so it cannot open or install.

I'm stuck. Help? Please?

Welcome to the Affinity forums.

You need to download the installer to your new MAC from whichever store you originally purchased it, presumably, from what you write, the MAC AppStore.  You need to ensure you are logging into the store with the same credentials as you used when you made the original purchase.  If you are sure you are logging in with the same details but the app shows as you need to buy it, you will need to follow this up with the AppStore support team.  Because Apple and Serif share no data on customers Serif has no record of your purchase and so cannot offer any help to you.
