Affinity Designer closes itself when I try to edit an embedded file.

Greetings to all.

When I double click on an embedded Affinity file, it opens the normal file, but when I go to modify any node, the program closes automatically.

In the App go to Edit -> Preferences -> Performance and untick Hardware Acceleration (OpenCL)

I'm having the same issue. Same issue. both Designer and Photo are shutting down after opening. Mine is closing without doing anything. So, if I let it sit 30 secs it closes. If I try to work on a new design, it closes. It's happening in both my Designer and Photo apps. I did uncheck the accelerations box as suggested above. No change. Running Win 11 (I upgraded from 10 thinking that would fix this issue). Running the latest SW on both.

I've already done that and Affinity keeps crashing.

Please run the Microsoft dotNet repair tool. And, be shure the GPU drivers are up-to-date.

Did the link from @Komatöshelp?  Can you attach your afdesign file or upload to our dropbox here and i'll see if can replicate the issue and track down the cause of the crash.

@Licia Welcome to the Forums, Your issue does sound very different to @Yulian Davidissue.  If the link that @Komatösposted hasn't helped stop the crashing, please create a seperate post on the Forums and your issue can be investigated

Hi @stokerg It hasn't worked. And I have already uploaded the base file to Dropbox.
When I go to edit the file: Character Embedded, the program closes.
