Staff Callum Posted August 12, 2022 Staff Share Posted August 12, 2022 Hi Xaalisaart, Welcome to the forums Please could you tell me if you are trying to import a .afmacro or .afmacros file? Does the macro appear in the Macro panel after import? If possible could you provide a screen recording demonstrating this issue? Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
Xaalisaart
No it's not an import, it's when I try to save the macro in the library. When I save or import a macro files all it's ok. Has you can see on the video, the macro "test" doesn't appear on the library. Thanks, macro.mp4
Staff Callum Posted August 12, 2022 Staff Share Posted August 12, 2022 Please could you try renaming your assets.propcol file to assets.propcol.old and then try saving a Macro to see if it works correctly. The file location for the .propcol file changes depending on the store you purchased Affinity from. You can find the different paths for these files below. Mac App Store: /Users/username/Library/Containers/com.seriflabs.affinityphoto/Data/Library/Application Support/user/macros.propcol Affinity Store: /Users/username/Library/Application Support/Affinity Photo/user/macros.propcol Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP. I purchased photo on the App Store and in my library i can neither find a containers folder nor a Application support folder. Any ideas? Thanks Peer Hello, you have to change the username in the path given by Callum. For exemple if your mac username is Toto you have to search for: /Users/Toto/Library/Containers/com.seriflabs.affinityphoto/Data/Library/Application Support/user/macros.propcol
Peer73
Yes. Sure i did that, but in my user library there is noch folder named containers.
Peer73
So, I finally found the macros.propcol under /users/username/library/Containers/Affinity Photo/Data/Library/Application Support/user/macros.propcol I renamed it to macros.propcol.old and then it worked. Thanks for the help
